First thing... You bring us in your clothes. We can't buy anything from you if you don't bring it to us. I know, you're saying "DUH"... but this is a list and lists always start out with the first step.
One of our friendly employees will look through the items you've brought in. This should only take us 15 minutes... TOPS. Please stick around/browse around while we do this.
We'll come and track you down in the store. You may hear a "Yoo Hoo!" or a "Marco" - to which you could reply "Polo" if you felt inclined. Don't reply if you're just shopping and your name is Marco. We probably weren't talking to you.
We will let you know what we could take, what we couldn't and why. We will then tell you what your total in cash and your total in store credit is.
This is the (not so) tricky part. Here's how our cash/credit system works. Say you brought us a super sweet Marc Jacobs dress. We would sell this for $30 in the store. So for cash, we give 30% of what we sell it for. So you'd get $9 for it in cold hard dolla dolla bills (or a five and four ones. We don't just pay in dollar bills). On the flip side of that, we give 50% of what we'd sell it for back to you in store credit. So you'd get to use $15 of store credit for that same Marc Jacobs dress.
So, the basic answer is, whatever we'll sell it for, you get 30% cash and 50% store credit.
Now... I'm going to read your mind. You're thinking... "What kind of stuff do they take?" BOOM! Called it. Well, the things we like to buy are varied. We do designer name brands, we do some department store brands, and unlike some other used clothing stores we won't mention, we take vintage items. We aren't gonna look at the tag to see how old something is. If it's stylish, we'll buy it. That's just the tip of the iceburg. We'll definitely still look at everything you bring in... even we don't know all the awesome stuff that's out there.
